For the February 1955 issue, Motor Age Magazine artfully incorporated a lovely woman taking a parts order on the phone, beautifully presented by artist Bradley. The award-winning illustrator was Barbara Bradley, at the time one of a handful of successful females in a male-dominated profession.
In later years she went on to teach drawing throughout the United States, including at Pixar, Lucas Arts and Disney Animation Arts.
Hands down, my favorite coffee cup. The best part is it looks great from all sides.
