Around Pontiac dealerships in 1958 there was a lot of excitement, particularly with the top-of-the-line Bonneville model as pictured. With the exhausts coming through the rear bumper and fully adorned with chrome trim from front to rear, the Bonneville had a flashy appearance to say the least.
Under the hood was a triple Rochester carbureted "Tempest 395A" V8 available as option, with 330 horsepower. It was promoted as "America's hot road car" and lived up to the claim.
I was really impressed with the quality of the poster when it came. It looks really cool in my son's new apartment.
