I was really impressed with the quality of the poster when it came. It looks really cool in my son's new apartment.

The

1954 Plymouth Belmont

Built as an "idea car" with a fiberglass roadster body, the Plymouth Belmont rolled on a 114-inch wheelbase and delivered power courtesy of a 150-horsepower V8 from the Dodge division. Just 49 inches tall, this sleek two-seater was developed in 1953 for debut at the Chicago Auto Show.

Three years later it was featured in the Tony Curtis movie, Mister Corey — and viewers had no idea the car had made production status. If the Belmont had been produced, it would have been a direct competitor to the Corvette and Thunderbird.
