Road Runners Car Club

Working On Ford Roadster to Become A Hot Rod

The Road Runners Car Club was one of the early hot rod clubs that sprung up in Southern California and would have meetings at places like Huntington Park and Whittier.

Hot Rodding was born with the general idea of removing the fenders and hood off of a roadster (for less weight) along with increasing the power of the engine, with the addition of aftermarket speed equipment.

In this shot here's two club members on a Ford Flathead V8 with aluminum racing heads being installed, along with two interested female observers.
