The medium-sized H3 Hummer was based on the GMT355 platform (Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon) and it had that "image vehicle" look to it, all the while incorporating visual cues to the original military-spec version. Squared-off body panels with slab siding, vertical windows and the signature 7-slot louvered grille were part of the presentation.
In addition to its aggressive appearance, an H3 Hummer can climb a 16-inch vertical wall, scale a 60% grade, and traverse a 40% side slope. With it having a head-twisting appearance, as evidenced with the pictured Desert Orange Metallic-hued 2007 "H3X" model, these vehicles are still sought after. At home on the road and the dirt, this is an SUV that doesn't look like the rest!
